What's new?
The CD recording of The Father Book is now available! Follow the link for purchases, streaming audio of the recording, a radio feature from KUOW, reviews, video and more. Reviews are in from the recent debut of The Gathering, arranged and orchestrated by Aaron for the North Carolina Symphony. The News & Obersver wrote "It was truly lovely, with composer Aaron Grad's Americana-by-way-of-Aaron-Copland arrangements meshing perfectly with the stringband quartet of Dossett, Giddens, banjo player Joe Newberry and mandolin man Mike Compton." Aaron has arranged Les feuilles mortes (Autumn Leaves) for a performance in March by the Minnesota Orchestra. The concert will also feature two of Aaron's other arrangements of songs associated with Edith Piaf. Aaron is also proud to mention the Suzuki violin studio recently launched in Seattle by his wife, Jen Kovarovic. Be sure to check out the lovely Suzuki by the Sound web site! |
